Raised on a diet of Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke and Barry White, soul music runs through the bloodline of the Slater family, and it is Alex’s sincere desire not to incur the wrath of his mother that compels him to dedicate so much time to mastering his renditions of the classics.
A tireless commitment, Entertainment has been Alex’s life since early childhood, earning him his first professional Television credit at age 9.
He is a stalwart of many venues across the UK and internationally, and his show and practice are forever evolving.
With each passing year, he seeks to surprise and impress his audience as he continues his lifelong journey to master the art of performance, something he can never fully achieve.
